However, qq registration is not easy for foreigners. Even for Chinese people. As there might occur sone error when you create QQ account.

However, many people use registered phone number still get invalid phone number alert. Why, it could be the QQ system can’t recognize the phone number provider so take it as a virtual phone number. In this case, you might try to change a new phone number or change the phone number provider.

Change IP, device and clear cache

QQ system will take it as a bot registration, that is far beyong normal registration. That is the worse issue. If your device, phone number or IP blocked. then you might no chance it create qq account unless you change them.

So, please stop when you failed to create qq account. I recommend you try tomorrow.

When it comes to changing IP, if you’re using Wi-Fi, then turn off the Wi-Fi to using mobile data. then your ip will be changed, vice versa. Or use your friend’s Wi-Fi.

If you try to register qq on qq.com. Then I recommend you clear your browser cache. Or you can simply use the incognito mode on browser and then try again.

If your device, mobile device or PC device blocked, then you shoul try use another device to sign up qq account.

Update qq software on qq.com

issue: the qq app is out of date

The qq international has been removed. So the overseas market is not that important anymore. Even you can download qq app from the Google app store or Apple store. But it could be delayed. The newest app on Google Play store or Apple store. It could not be the latest. I’ve tested it before.

In this case, you should download the app from qq official webpage (qq.com)

And sometimes, the app from qq.com still not the latest, I also tested once. But that case barely happens. If so, you might need to use some Chinese app store, like Huawei app store, Xiaomi app store, One-plus app store,etc. Or use the third-party app store ,like 应用宝 or 豌豆荚 to update the qq app to the latest version.

Midnight China timezone

Like I said, there are huge traffics of signing up for qq account every second. So the network could be down. Not down the app but the registration channel down and the you got errors all the time.

According to the Chinese people said on the internet (Yes, Chinese people will fail to create qq just like you too). It’s recommended to sign up qq account at midnight China timezone (1:00-6:00 am). In this timezone, few people trying to register account. You get more chances to get qq account.

No verification code received

You should check your messages blocked list, as the verification code could be blocked by your phone or phone number. If not, then it could be qq system failed to send you the code, or you failed to receive it. I recommend you change another phone number and try again.

NOTE: Every time you failed to, you should never try again immediately. You should wait for a couple hours, or days. I recommend you try again tomorrow. And try every day, if you are eager to get qq account.

Be patient!!! Many people get qq account after few days, even months. It won’t be easy, even you do exactly as I said. Especially some countries. What I know is one of my qq friend from Netherlands, he created two qq account successfully without any issues.
