- Open your Google play store.
- Enter “Weibo” and search.
- Pick the Weibo Logo like below showed.

- Download it and install to your phone.

How to Change the language of Weibo on your phone?
Normally, the language of Weibo is in English by default. But sometimes you might find it is not. And you don’t know Chinese at all, so you need to change the language of Weibo on your phone device.
- Click on [登录/注册] on the bottom of the screen and then you will be required to enter your Weibo account info.
- Enter your phone number or email address as your Weibo ID.
- After that, enter your password and then click on [登录] to login.
Sometimes, you will be requested to enter the CAPTCHA code “请输入验证码”. Just enter the code and then click on “确定” to confirm. If you can’t read the code clearly, you can tap the code image or click on “更换” to change a new CAPTCHA code to continue. - Once you logged in, you need to click on “≡” icon on the top-left of the screen.
- And then, you need to tap the “Settings” icon “设置” to go to your Weibo account Settings.
- The last step is clicking on the “语言” to change the language.
Once you click on that it will pop up a language lists, you can choose the language you know.

How to turn on/off the notification of Weibo?
If you’re on the meeting, on the class or other stuff you’re doing now, but your phone is always pop up the Weibo notification. It could be very annoying. Then how to turn it off?
Go to the “Message Setting” (I’ve shown you how to go the Settings on the previous paragraph). And click on it.
If you want to close the notification, just click on the “Notification Setting” to set close. Note: Notification will not show background when set to close.
When you don’t want to receive notification from Chatting(It could be your Weibo friends or just you followed with) and then you can click on the “Chat”
The next one “New Followers” notifies you when you get new Followers.
As for the last one, New Weibo notification, once you turn it on you will get notifications when your friends or your following post a new post. If you don’t like it you can turn it off.
How to turn off the Sounds of Weibo?
It could be a really frustrating thing when Weibo always ‘make sounds’ when you need it to be quiet. Many people don’t know how to close that annoying sounds.
Go back to the Settings. And click on the Sounds to turn it off. And then the Weibo will be quiet again.

Hi may i know how to retrieve weibo account? Because i do have weibo’s acc the china ver. But then i uninstalled it due to endless notification.. it drain the battery.. and now man band has sign up for weibo so i need to retrieve my acc…… but whenever i insert my phone number to get the sms code.. the red thing appear. Cant read. Cant copy for translation but i need someone to help me. This is frustrating. I still remember i already installed and uninstalled the weibo for few times and i just did fine with enter the phone number. But after i changed my phone… not a phone number but my phone… i cant login anymore.. can someone help me?
I’ve tried signing up on the web page, but that didn’t work because it always said my phone number is ‘invalid’. Now i’ve managed to sign up with my phone number in the app, and i had an account (user+number) (you only had to give and verify a phone number). I’ve tried figuring out the settings (since most of them they were in english, besides the account settings for some reason, those i couldn’t figure out) but there was no way to change or add an email or password. So now I’ve logged out and have no way to log in again?
